Southwestern Ontario is about to see a new kind of Ram 1500 on its roads: the 2027 Rumble Bee lineup, four widebody muscle trucks built around a shortened wheelbase and offered only as a Quad Cab short-bed pickup. Buyers can choose the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 Rumble Bee, the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 Rumble Bee 392 or 392 Track Pack, or the range-topping, supercharged 777-horsepower Rumble Bee SRT, each one adding performance hardware without giving up the four working doors, real bed and towing and payload capability of a standard Ram 1500. Guelph sits along the Highway 401 and Highway 7 corridor, a region with both manufacturing plants and working farmland close by, and the Rumble Bee's mix of daily usability and factory-tuned performance fits both kinds of driving. Exterior

A 330-millimetre (13-inch) shorter wheelbase and a frame that's 10 percent stiffer against flex give every Rumble Bee its compact, muscular stance next to a standard Ram 1500. Rumble Bee and Rumble Bee 392 carry that stance with an aggressive grille, widebody fenders and body-colour bumpers in Detonator Yellow, Molten Red or Ceramic Gray, along with a first-for-Ram set of compact side mirrors mounted tighter to the body.

Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack and Rumble Bee SRT add a deep front splitter, functional lower grille openings that route air to the brakes and cooling system, and an 80-millimetre rear spoiler shaped for stability at speed. Both wear 22-by-12-inch wheels with 325-millimetre rear tires, among the widest tire and wheel combinations Ram has offered on a production vehicle, and Rumble Bee SRT alone adds a Blacktop paint package over the hood and roof.

Interior

A flat-bottom steering wheel, console-mounted G/T shifter and aluminum paddle shifters run through the entire lineup, alongside a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a trim-specific start-up graphic. Base Rumble Bee keeps its cloth bucket seats manually operated, in Greystone stitching, next to an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen; Rumble Bee 392 adds a 10-way power cloth seat, Twill Deco trim and a 12-inch touchscreen.

Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack steps up to 12-way power leather and suede seating, extends Prowler Yellow stitching into the rear cabin, and adds metal door sill plates. Rumble Bee SRT sits at the top with Natura Plus leather and suede, Desert Orange stitching, a suede headliner and Carbon Fibre Deco trim, including an engraved badge on the glovebox door. Every trim keeps the Quad Cab's four full-size doors, so passenger space stays consistent whichever engine buyers choose.

Rumble Bee's 5.7-litre HEMI V8 delivers 395 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 410 lb-ft of torque at 3,950 rpm, matched to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and full-time active four-wheel drive with a front-axle disconnect button for rear-wheel-drive-only driving. Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack move to a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 rated at 470 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 455 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. Rumble Bee SRT tops the range with a 6.2-litre supercharged HEMI V8 producing 777 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 680 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm, and Track Pack and SRT trims add an electronic spool differential for consistent power delivery during hard launches.

Uconnect screens grow through the lineup, from 8.4 inches on Rumble Bee to 12 inches on Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack and 14.5 inches on Rumble Bee SRT, each supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and full-feature navigation with one-step voice destination entry. A configurable head-up display is available on 392-based trims and grows to a full-colour, 10-inch-wide unit on Rumble Bee SRT.

Every Rumble Bee includes Performance Pages, logging acceleration timers, g-force and engine data downloadable to a USB drive. Active Driving Assist is optional on Rumble Bee 392 and standard from 392 Track Pack up. Audio ranges from a 10-speaker Alpine system on 392-based trims to a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system on Rumble Bee SRT, and an available 360-degree camera system helps with trailer hookups and tight parking.
